What a fabulous place, it a shame I never found this restaurant when I visited Penang, the house is obviously British built, and beautifully maintained, the afternoon tea is very good and not expensive. although we would not have chicken pie with afternoon tea, the cream you asked about is called Clotted cream, anyway im glad you enjoyed it, many thanks for an interesting video. I am a former student of MBS.Suffork House was used as a canteen for MBS until it was declare not safe for school canteen.Wow.. what a great overhaul of the formal colonial building from torn down to beautiful restaurant.One day l will visit this restaurant to refresh my memory of school canteen l used to eat inside during my school days in MBS.. Very nice. I love tea experiences. I've never been a fan of the finger sandwiches though. Give me more scones and clotted cream and jams and I'm a happy camper (though yeah, scones can sometimes be too dry and crumbly). When you mentioned prices, I had to google a currency converter. I sure hope that the champagne is worth the $125 US LOL. And…..hnmmmmm a hairy boy drink….I hope Shaun is not jealous LOL. Overall, looks like a nice experience.
